20 Day Business Challenge - Day 6
Being organized is very important when it comes to running a business. When you are organized, you are more productive. Aside from using a calendar of course, follow the five suggestions below to become more organized and to increase your productivity.
1.) Organize your workspace
Every item in your workspace needs a specific place to belong. Take some time to make a place for everything in your workspace. Use storage systems that allow you to see and get to each item easily.
2.) Plan your marketing campaigns in advance
Social media post, newsletters and blog post are great ways to keep your customers informed. Using these resources are amazing but, they can also become overwhelming if you don’t have a plan in place. Planning and scheduling your campaigns in advance will help you to be more organized.
3.) Become as paperless as possible
We live in a digital age that offers us so many resources to become paperless. Reducing paper not only reduces your carbon footprint, it also aids in helping you to be more organized. Items that can become paperless quickly are bills, waivers, documents that can be signed electronically and receipts. Take some time to examine the things in your workspace to see how you can reduce your paper piles and files!
4.) Organize all of your passwords in one place
We have passwords for everything! Organize all of your passwords in one place so you don’t need to look for them or try to remember all of them. Create a designated journal that can be stored safely or create a password protected place on your phone or computer to store all of your passwords in one place.
5.) Sync your computer and your phone
If you work from your computer and your phone it is a good idea to sync them so you don’t need to do double duty. Being able to access work on both devices will save you time and help you to be more organized.
